Job Description

Our client has a requirement for an Workstation Deployment Specialist for 2 months contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities

The objective of this engagement is to provide support for workstation services / end-point management team. The following activities will be required:

• Administer and support Novell ZENworks
• provide a solution to open the C$ admin share on all workstations:
• Review the existing environment and associated documentation provided by the client.
• Review the various approaches to accomplish the change and make recommendations of risk mitigation strategies and tool selection.
• Generate an executive report outlining the recommended approach, activities, and toolsets.
• Generate a detailed work breakdown structure.

 

 Qualifications

• Experience administering Novell ZENworks (knowledge of other asset management and deployment systems is an asset)
• Experience administering SuSE Linux
• Detailed knowledge of Windows workstation security policies and practices
