Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Business Integration Specialist - Level 2 for 16 months contract. The position is located in Toronto, ON

Responsibilities

• Providing expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models to enable identification and elimination of redundant business processes.
• Identifying new business functions/solutions and documenting the business requirements.
• Participating in the development of business/system integration strategies.
• Providing technical leadership to business analysts, architects, and system development teams.
• Providing specialized technical expertise in the overall analysis of the design and architecture of systems solutions, based on strong hands-on experience.
• Identifying short and long-term project goals/objectives and, as a senior technical expert, identifying and defining program and service delivery requirements in support of the development and/or acquisition of applications.
• Leading the analysis, development, and documentation of design and architecture of systems solutions.
• Leading the development of testing, integration, and implementation of systems solutions into the clients’ applications.

 

Requirements

• Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines.
• Notify the Cluster Project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables, as soon as he/she becomes aware of them.
• Submit Deliverables for the Cluster approval as they are completed.
• Comply with the Cluster security procedures and practices.
• Comply with the Cluster architecture/technology standards and best practices.
• Comply with the Cluster Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines.
• Provide knowledge and skill transfer to a designated Cluster staff.
• Comply with the I&IT Directive, Operational Policy on the IT Project Gateway Process, and other applicable Guidelines, Standards and Procedures.
