About the Job

Our client has a requirement for Sr. Java Developer for a 6 months contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto

Requirements or Qualifications

We require a strong JEE programmer who would be capable of delegating work and daily management of a small team of 3-4 other programmers, likely offshore. This individual will be working on a large new build project.

 

Must Have: 

Expert level knowledge of:

• Javascript, CSS, HTML, JQUERY
• 5+ years’ experience with:
• JEE/Java. Servlets, JSF
• Spring: Core,MVC, AOP, JDBC
• Web application servers, ideally WebSphere (Tomcat and Jetty would be nice too)
• 3+ years experience with:
• Maven
• Unit testing/mock frameworks (ideally mockito)
• Ajax principles
• Familiar with the concept of website Mashups
• Eclipse IDE
• Exceptionally strong communication skills - someone who works well in a team.
• Proven leadership

 

 Nice To Have:

• Angular JS is an asset
• GIT scm
