Role:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Users services, the Technician is responsible for advanced PC and telephony user support outside the scope of a regular technician position.

  • Past experience in a technical IT related role
  • Demonstrated strong working knowledge of the Windows XP/7 environment

Responsbilities:

  • Completes the physical installations of hardware (PC’s, phones, printers, etc), including large-scale moves.

  • Exhibits best practice risk management skills through effective internal risk controls, risk monitoring, risk assessment and improvement of risk management processes.
  • Specific type of risks applicable to the job function such as credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, legal/compliance risk, reputational risk and information security risk shall be discussed with the manager and senior manager of the area.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, I.T., Marketing, Accounting or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • More than five years’ experience in the risk management related activities in the financial industry.
  • Good oral and written skills on a business level in both English and Japanese.

  • Develop baseline profiles for each WAN, WLAN and Internet interface.
  • Generate exception reports for variances to interface baselines, including cause, duration and resulting action to the exception.
  • Provide daily WLAN resource usage report including connections by client type, client location and any rogue access attempts.
  • Provide monthly service availability reports, showing outage locations, dates, times, durations, cause and resolution.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration and upgrading of network devices or monitoring tools.
  • Maintain current network topology diagrams and asset inventory documents.
