About the Job
Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Project Manager for a 1 Year Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role
One of our Financial Services client is looking for an Intermediate Project Manager with a passion for technology and quality to ensure that project teams meet commitments and deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
 
Requirements or Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in an IT-related discipline
  • PMP certification preferred, but not required
  • 3-5+ years of project management experience
  • Past experience leading QA teams for large initiatives/programs; managing the testing and QA
  • Experience creating/maintaining efficient organization and structure of QA teams
  • Financial/ banking experience
  • Technology experience; working with online channels and reporting; specifically managing technology releases (applications/ software releases)
  • Experience managing large projects – across different lines of business and different platforms/operating systems
  • Extensive experience working with stakeholders and executive level leadership *Previous experience working with large Financial client(s) managing testing for enterprise wide program would be an asset
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong Facilitation/Presentation experience
  • Excellent communicator
  • Team player attitude
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Customer service orientation, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and PMLC
