Job Description
 
 
The Tele Solution Specialist is a role focused on driving Solution/Product revenue and awareness through the customer and technology partner channel. The Tele Solution Specialist (T-SSP) along with the Territory Manager will be responsible for the opportunity pipeline and sales execution for solution/product revenue in the Middle - Upper Market space.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Work closely with the SMS&P sales teams to drive adoption of virtualization solutions/products in the Middle - Upper Market space
  • Ability to speak to the Microsoft stack framework and deliver mini roadmap sessions
  • Proactively (outbound through data mining) and reactively (Marketing Leads) deliver strong solution sales
  • Deliver Business Value Discussions and other sales presentations (including Live Meeting sessions) to customer accounts.
  • Distribute highly qualified Opportunities to Partner Channel, Inside and Outside resources
  • Track Opportunities with customers through systematic touch points
  • Effective territory planning as it pertains to defining and driving solution/product strategy for meeting revenue quota for defined territory.
  • Working with and educating System Integrators, Large Account Resellers, and Channel Partners to drive solution/product sales in Middle - Upper Market accounts.
  • Maintaining industry, technical and solution knowledge
  • Ongoing engagements with internal solution specialists to develop solution knowledge and share best practices
  • Ongoing engagements with Middle - Upper marketing team and act as an advocate for their solution category
  • Readiness, best practice sharing, providing feedback to key stakeholders and other Solution Specialist

Qualifications:
 
Required experience in the following areas:
 
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Level 200 knowledge within their defined solution category
  • Bachelors Degree (B.S./B.A.) in relevant area of study.
  • Passion for technology and solid knowledge of Mid-Market global IT requirements and competitive offerings.
  • Great leadership and cross group working skills. 
  • Formal sales training such as Solution Selling, Spin Selling or Miller Heiman.
  • Target Account Selling Skills as well as a thorough understanding of the security market.
  • Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a high paced environment.
  • Developing relationships with senior-level technical and business decision makers.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft products and solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communications, teaming and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated complex problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated sales revenue forecasting.
  • Must demonstrate leadership abilities and maintain a strategic, visionary outlook.
  • Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit.
