Scope of Services and Deliverables - The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:


Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Project Support L1 for a 6 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, Ontario .


Requirement or Qualifications:

•Provide technical application support in response to MIS and HRIS end-user requests.
•Records and tracks technical applications issues and complaints and contribute to problem identification.
•Informs customers on problem status and progress. Also engages third party vendor support groups as required.
•Maintain an appropriate knowledge of the Windows Operating System, MIS and HRIS software solutions.
•Provide troubleshooting and optimization for technical problems within an area.
•Distribute materials for meetings and training.
•Update database, distribution lists and excel spreadsheets.
•General administrative tasks for the project team, as assigned.
•Create instructional guides for internal and external users.
•Create and gather KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) when requested.
•Responsible for imaging training laptops as required.


Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Experience in Ontario healthcare sector and in the Ontario Continuing Care sector.
•5+ years experience providing technical support experience in a tier 1 and tier 2 working environment.
•Experience supporting Dynamics GP v10 application in a hosted environment.
•Experience supporting Quadrant QHR application in a hosted environment.
•Working experience with Terminal Servers.
•Working knowledge of remote security access gateways (like Connectra)
•Experience resolving and prioritizing service tickets.
•Experience installing, configuring and supporting Windows Operating Systems
•Experience with Desktop or network support.
•Experience in providing regular updates to project lead.
•Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills.
•A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
•Providing regular project updates.
•Identifying risks, issues and action items and developing a risk management plan, issue resolution plan.
•Escalating & coordinating any environment requests or high priority tickets with the PCO.
•Experience re- imaging desktops or laptops.
•Certification in Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred.
