Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for IT Analyst III - Technical Support for a 12 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in London.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

Duration: 12 months (One Year)
Location: London

We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Analysts with Packaging experience (1+ years) for our London Office,
Department: The Desktop team is responsible for testing/QA of application packages, as well as third level support. Individuals will have experience with Windows 7, remote trouble shooting in Windows 7 and XP environment. Experience with other industry standard software such as Office, SharePoint, Printers would be an asset.

Overview of responsibilities;
The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for providing third level desktop support. Analyst uses a variety of Tools to perform the required support and testing, must perform detailed problem determination in order to correct desktop issues. Documenting, resolution for future reference and other teams.

MUST HAVES:
• Package Testing: 1 + years of experience
• Testing of applications to ensure base desktop remains functional. 1 + years of experience
• 3rd Level problem support
• Troubleshooting XP/ Windows 7 environment- 1 year+

NICE TO HAVES:
•Project Engagement / Solution development related to desktop
• SW Packaging / Distribution / Image Management (asset)
• Ability to code (Winbatch / VBscript)
• Scripting (asset)
• SCCM (asset)

Office Locations – London (2), Creekside (3)
•Desktop Support is Mon – Fri, candidates MUST BE flexible to work with after hours on call rotation
•Adheres to change management
•Support coverage for East to West coasts

Tools & Skills
-Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7
-Experience with remote trouble shooting
-Familiar with Windows 7 and SCCM
-Understanding of automation techniques, i.e. Scripts and scheduling, checks and balances
-Problem Determination
-Office Productivity Tools & Outlook mail
-Strong Technical Background

Skills/knowledge required:
-Strong documentation and analysis skills.
-Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
-Knowledge of the TI Methodology
-Ability to learn/grasp technical concepts
-Familiarity with the CLIENT workstation technical environment.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements
-Past experience delivering requirements within tight time constraints

* Face to face interviews with candidates in the London area *

Additional Details:

• London is the only locations - no flexibility
• Interview Details- One Hiring Manager + 30 minute interviews,( situational, technical interviews)
• Candidates must have excellent communication skills

* This role is 9 – 5 with possibility of on call
