Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for ITCAM Analyst – Niche Position for a 6 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, Ontario.

Job Description

This team is responsible for the administration of monitoring tools. These tools are used for alerting of the hardware and OS as well as applications for the distributed and Mainframe environments. Our tools are also used to gather performance metrics and to perform automated recovery actions.


The team manages tools such as Tivoli ITM, NetView, Omegamon, System Automation, Mom, Scom and ITCAM.

We are currently seeking an ITCAM Analyst

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

•3+years of experience -ITCAM Rules that have to be built/configuring rules
•3+ years of SOA- must have a good understanding
•3+ years of UNIX
•3+years of experience (6.x) IBM Tivoli
•2+years of experience (UNIX –Based Scripts (Perl / Shell)
•1+ years of experience (ITM -Tivoli Monitoring )
•Troubleshooting 1st level support, escalations are all in-house
•ITCAM for SOA (tool) –used for WebSphere general experience
•Strong understanding of chain of command and change management
•Must have experience with request queues / incident ticket management systems (USD- Unicentre Service Desk)
