Account Manager, Solution Sales

Job Description

Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking for an experienced Account Manager, Solution Sales. The Account Manager, Solution Sales is responsible for the successful delivery of all Zylog’s end-to-end Solutions offerings. The Account Manager, Solution Sales will sell a diverse portfolio of migration services, software, and software related professional service offering to existing and new clients.

Specific Responsibilities & Primary Duties:

•Present and sell Solutions products and services to current and potential clients.
•Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets to create and drive sales pipeline
•Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
•Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
•Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
•Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
•Develop and maintain sales materials and current product and service knowledge.
•Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships, including channel partner relationships. Work with and leverage external partners to deliver sale.
•Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
•Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
•Identify and resolve client concerns.
•Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
•Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
•Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities.
•Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, seminars and telemarketing events.


Key Skills and Attributes required:

•College Diploma or University Degree in Marketing or Business Administration required.
•Minimum 5 years of IT Solution Sales experience required.
•A proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.
•Technical competence required (Ability to comprehend and then articulate technical jargon in easily understood terms).
•Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
•A valid driver’s license required.
•Ability to travel frequently required.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
•Strong interpersonal skills required, ability to seek out new opportunities while managing and up-selling existing accounts.
•Must have experience dealing with clients, contractors, and senior management.
•Must be motivated, goal oriented and persistent
•Ability to negotiate with clients on rates and legal contracts.
