A unique and exciting opportunity with a client based in the United States is seeking eager and qualified Canadian IT talent to fulfill opportunities with several industries.


Job Description:

Our client is seeking Intermediate - Senior Java EE Developers with a minimum of 8 years of development experience who are willing to re-locate into the United States for an exciting, long term contract. A TN1 VISA is required but don’t worry we will help you to get one!


Requirements:

Must Have:

•Minimum of 8 years in Software Engineering role
•Minimum 6+ years in Java EE Web Application development
•Strong background in Object Oriented design
•Demonstrated ability to apply design patterns to daily work and effectively communicate them
•Demonstrated ability to develop high quality fast to market solutions
•SQL is a requirement
•XML is a requirement
•JSP, HTML is required
•JavaScript, JQuery is preferred
•SOA / Web Services / EJB Programming is a requirement
•Experience with two or more Web Application Frameworks (MVC, Struts, GWT, Spring, JSF) is a requirement
•Experience with I18N and Localization is preferred


Nice to Have:

•Agile Development experience is a plus
•Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non technical people is a requirement
•Solid planning, design and implementation skills
•Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Demonstrated ability as a self-starter and active participant in new initiatives
•Deliver specific / configurable solutions to general requirements
•Ability to work effectively with others and build relationships both within Menlo and among various levels of customers.
•Ability to multi-task among competing priorities
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team structure
