Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Sales for a 4 month renewable opportunity. The positions are located in Mississauga.

The function of the Mid-Market Dynamics Specialist is to increase the sales of Microsoft Dynamics solutions within the Mid-Market Segment (25-1,000 PCs). This will be achieved through a combination of solution selling to existing Dynamics customers through a combination of depth and breadth strategies leveraging strategic marketing and partner alignment. In addition, this role is responsible for the identification and qualification of Microsoft Dynamics opportunities that align with Microsoft’s solution selling process (MSSP). In addition, the role is responsible for the identification of Microsoft Infrastructure (depth and breadth) opportunities that coincide with DYNAMICS business, and engage Account Managers wherever necessary.

In this role, you will work closely with other members of the Microsoft Sales team and Microsoft partners in the pursuit of specific revenue opportunities. It is expected that you will develop a deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies and licensing and how they can be applied to meet customer needs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

•Generate MM pipeline of qualified opportunities that will feed MS Partners.
•Prospecting, developing solution sales within client business units.
•Effectively collaborate and develop relationships with virtual teams and leverage team-based selling with multiple teams and members.
•Responsible for verifying and maintaining data in Siebel.
•Able to identify opportunities that meet MS financial parameters and customer needs through matching the best fit for customer and implementation with the best fit MS Partner.
•High degree of knowledge of License/Services offering, with a strong ability to communicate software compliancy messages. Can solve problems with customers as a first escalation point.
•Achieves Mid-Market revenue, growth and customer satisfaction goals.
•Forecast sales on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
•Review, implement and execute sales plans.
•Meet and exceed assigned DYNAMICS Sales revenue targets for respective territory.
•Identify and qualify ERP and CRM up sell opportunities for handoff to the incumbent partner
•Engage partners where required to engage in both technical and licensing discussions with customers
•Gather customer needs and information to ensure appropriate partners are engaged to work with the account and share updates throughout the engagement
•Work with partners to drive large opportunities through the entire sales process to closure.
•Contact all renewal opportunities in respective territory and ensure a renewal rate of 80% or greater
•Support Microsoft and Partner hosted customer events by encouraging customer attendance.
•Prepare and update territory plan on an ongoing basis to identify key challenges for the business and solutions for your territory.
•Engage in customer discussions to ensure customer understanding of Microsoft technology, licensing and solutions and the impact it can have on their business.
•Use Siebel as the collaboration tool with internal resources to maintain accurate customer, company, and opportunity information on all active accounts and opportunities within the territory.
•Monitor competitor programs/activities and market trends and engage directly in accounts with competitive technologies deployed.
•Engage with customers at the BDM level (CxO level).
•Understand and fully execute sales activities using the Microsoft Solution Selling Process.
•Maintain high call volume
•Routine administrative responsibilities, including: preparing and submitting reports/requests; establishing priorities for effective time management; attending and participating in various levels of staff meetings and training; and reading and responding to e-mail.
•Handle general customer / prospect inquiries and route to appropriate resources
•perform post sales analysis on Won / close / lost opportunities.

Qualifications:

Required experience in the following areas:

•3+ years sales and account management experience in high tech industry.
•Bachelors Degree in relevant area of study.
•Formal sales training such as Solution Selling, Spin Selling or Miller Heiman.
•Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a high paced environment.
•Developing relationships with senior-level technical and business decision makers.
•Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft products and solutions.
•Strong verbal and written communications, teaming and interpersonal skills.
•Demonstrated complex problem solving skills.
•Demonstrated sales revenue forecasting.
•CRM Experience. (Seibel, Onyx, or Pivotal)
•Must demonstrate leadership abilities and maintain a strategic, visionary outlook.
•Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit.
