Job Description:
 
Our client has a requirement for SAP Billing and Order Management Lead
for a 12 month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Brampton Ontario. 
 
Requirement or Qualifications:
 
The SAP BILLING AND ORDER MANAGEMENT LEAD:
a cross-functional team of technical and business resources to design and implement billing and store order management capabilities within the SAP IS-Retail solution. There will be particular focus on the integration of SAP Billing and Order Management with related third party and legacy systems that execute planning, shipping, and transportation processes. The Billing and Order Management Lead is a member of the Supply Chain Business team and is responsible for incorporating business requirements into the SAP solution and associated business processes. A key enabler for success will be the candidate's ability to build strong relationships with business representatives from the retail, supply chain, finance, and merchant operations. The Candidate and his/her team will work closely these stakeholders to validate SAP solution design, support test planning and execution, and participate in deployment planning and execution.

Billing refers to the processes and system solution that facilitates the invoicing of stores by the corporate entity against an internal pricing schema. It also includes vendor direct (Direct Store Delivery) invoicing and the use of SAP Agency Business" to manage charges to the store and payment to the goods supplier.

Store Order Management refers to the processes and system solution for collecting store replenishment orders, processing them centrally, and passing them to warehouse and transportation systems for pick, pack, and ship. It also includes the apportioning of available inventory to orders when there are imbalances between supply and demand.

General Duties and Responsibilities

* Deliver on-time and on-budget SAP Blueprint design for billing and store order management capabilities
* Lead a team of functional and technical resources in delivering:
- Detailed design documentation
- Key Decision and Issue Resolution
- End-to-End business process documentation
- Test Scenarios and Test Plans
- Deployment Plans
* Engage effectively with business subject matter experts and sponsors to  maintain strong working relationships and stakeholder engagement.
* Maintain strong focus on financial pricing and billing requirements and how they drive billing design.
* Manage relationship with systems integration partner (consultants) to leverage their knowledge of industry best practices and apply them in a relevant manner to the clilent's SAP solution.
* Lead the core team in evaluating industry best-practices for fit with client's requirements and distinguishing critical gaps from those that can be addressed through process changes.
* Lead the core team in identifying data cleansing and validation requirements based on current state of relevant enterprise data and data requirements of the future state solution
* Drive the key design decision-making process for the Inventory domain, bringing together relevant solution experts and business representatives
 
 
Job Qualifications
 
*Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role in billing, finance,order management and/or ERP Project delivery of billing and/or order management capabilities
*Understanding of internal and external billing processes
*Understanding of order fulfillment processes
*Leadership experience implementing SAP SD, FI, or MM (preferred but not required)
*Experience with SAP-IS Retail Solution
*Experience with the full systems integration lifecycle including Blueprint, Realization, Preparation, and Support.
*Experience in business process design, functional design documentation, and data cleansing/conversion
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent interpersonal, investigative, and negotiating skills
*Maturity, good business acumen, professional
*Well developed self-management skills
*2-5 years of experience in the retail industry.
*Skilled at creating alternative solutions to business challenges
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Key to this role will be the functional and technical knowledge design or SAP Billing and Order management (WMS and SD modules)
