Job Description:
 
Our client has a requirement for Applications Architect III for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Toronto. 
 
Requirement or Qualifications:
 
Qualified Candidates will have:
 
We are looking for a Senior Applications Architect III who will be responsible for the end-to-end architectural solution for applications (Policy Administration system) that are normally categorized as medium to high complexity.
 
This individual would require to work with Life and Health areas and they would need to have an understanding of policy administration. If they have worked with Policy Administration system and in particular with life and health, it would be beneficial. This individual would also require to validate solutions provided or created by developers and has a higher level of intervention. This individual would require to make recommendations if the solutions validated is incorrect.
 
In addition, this individual will design applications which may run on multiple platforms and composed of multiple software packages. They would perform critical evaluation and selection of software and hardware components of the application and prepare for the development of the application by evaluation and selection of development methodologies and tools. Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of applications. Consults with clients to refine applications and to meet with customer regulation management.
 
Skills: Previous data modeling experience as well as experience developing systems in a team environment. Business unit or vertical experience. Knowledge or experience working with Policy Administration system and in particular, Life and Health.
 
Data modeling: 6 yrs
System development: 6 years
Nice to have: Policy Administration system
Interviews may be a combination of phone interview and live interview.
