JOB SUMMARY
This position is a member of the eBusiness team responsible for developing and support web base software solutions.
2.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
1.Assist with the design of software solutions.
2.Develop the software solutions using the .Net framework
3.Assume responsibility for the resolution and correction of program code
4.Participate in the architecture of systems
5.Implement software solutions using the .Net framework (include Microsoft SharePoint platform)
6.Assist in the formulation of testing strategies and test automation programming
7.Follow software development best practices
8.Assist team leads & developers to ensure best quality documentation and coordination of delivery
9.Follow an agile development methodology

QUALIFICATIONS AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION
What does the incumbent need to know to be able to do his/her job?
(What basic qualifications/education and specific experience would be necessary)
•University graduate in computer science or equivalent and/or several years of progressively responsible experience in web application design and development. Experience in technical systems analysis and implementation.
•Consistent team player, with continuous learning as a habit and the innate desire to solve problems. Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of structured programming, object oriented design and service oriented architecture. Good application performance and run time behavior. Experience developing in .NET Framework and environment. Working experience in both C+ and VB languages is preferred.
•Good experience of the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance, system integration. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, a go-to person for activities within cross-divisional and cross-functional teams
To what degree does the position require knowledge of Company policies, procedures, organization and industry practices?
•Adopt existing operation and support procedures and continue process improvement as required. Understand web design best practices and GLOBE eBusiness infrastructure
Give one or two examples of the most challenging types of problems faced in this position
•Troubleshooting code errors after website launch. Work with business stakeholder and project manager to resolve the issue so impact to business is kept to a minimum.
•No resolution even after all troubleshooting steps are exhausted. Work with the project team to execute the fall back plan. Managing communications and customer expectation during the process.
•Organizing and prioritizing work requests from demanding users.
