About the Job
Our client has a requirement for System Center Service Manager Administrator contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto

Role
We are Looking for SCSM (System Center Service Manager) Resource for a 12 month contract in Toronto.

Responsibilities
  • The System Center Service Manager Administrator will be the primary contact for all aspects of the Capital Markets & Risk Infrastructure (CMRI) Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) solution. Primary responsibility will be the development, configuration, customization, enhancement and support of the SCSM environment. SCSM will be used primarily to manage Assets and Asset-application relationships for CMRI in conjunction with our client’s Enterprise Books of Record.
  • The initial work will be to design and build the SCSM environment with connectors to the CMRI System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) environments and must include development to integrate with Cireson’s Asset Management solution and the export of asset data for ingestion into Enterprise processes. Going forward a solution needs to be developed to allow for the intake and linking of BMC Remedy incident/problem/change ticket data. Future work would include automation of common repetitive workflows using the System Center Orchestrator product.
  • This person will be standing up the environment and doing custom development once it is stood up. This person needs to have strong communication skills and the ability to gather requirements as they will be interacting with different development groups outside of their team to gather requirements and perform the customizations.

Required Skills
  • Expert knowledge managing and maintaining SCSM environment; using System Center Service Manager 2012
  • Expert skills in building Configuration Items(CIs), CI relationships, asset discovery/asset intelligence, asset management, lifecycle management, capacity management, service management and financial management   
  • Process development and documentation
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry standard IT processes and procedures
  • Advanced Experience with SCOM, SCCM and SCOrch (all versions 2012)
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL Reporting Services
  • Experience with authoring and customization of SCSM and SCOM management packs   
  • PowerShell scripting

Nice To Have
  • Financial experience is not necessary. The use of the tool is for Asset Management. Experience with Asset Management in a financial environment would be a nice to have, but this experience is not required.
