About the Job
Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Infrastructure Project Manager for a 1 Year Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
  • Previous Banking Experience [Specifically Information Management of Enterprise infrastructure]
  • Knowledge of the infrastructure supporting Data Warehousing environments.
  • Technically adept at managing infrastructure projects [Software upgrades, server moves, network changes, platform outages & changes, etc].
  • Experience managing Maintenance & Enhancement Portfolios of up to $3 MM.
  • Ability to work at a "low level" interfacing with leads, building technically detailed plans & checklists, interfacing with various technical teams across the organization.
  • Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
  • Advanced understanding of the SDLC and PMLC, artifacts as deliverables, etc.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio.
  • Highly organized with good time management skills.
  • Customer service orientated
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • PMP is desired but not required
