This is an exciting opportunity to join Client, a world-class IT company for a Sr Java/ J2EE Developer position to provide leading IT services to our local clients. We are looking for Sr Java/ J2EE Developers to join our growing team.

 

Responsibilities

• Designing, coding and testing complex projects with large number of end users
• Reads requirements documentation and translates into clearly documented designs and assigns tasks appropriate to more junior project team members in both technical and process consulting specialties.
• Assists with analysis, design and implementation of decision management solutions.
• Preparing detailed documentations for design and system specifications
• Self-starter with the ability of Solving existing system's logic difficulties as required.
• Capable of working in most phases of project from requirements, through deployment.
• Interacting with clients and development teams and recommending solutions as required.
• Participating in multiple assignments at the same time.
• Use case mapping and developing system interaction diagrams and artifact
• Familiar with automated builds and deployments tools
• Participate in the design and development of Chordiant within a complex environment

 

Requirements and Qualifications

• Successfully graduated from a 2 year diploma program or Bachelor in Computer Science/Information Technology
• A minimum of 5 years related IT experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision
• Strong problem solving and decision-making
• Recent experience developing applications with Java enterprise level
• Java programming for 5 years or more in banking or large business environment
• Knowledge of Java, J2EE systems that can be used in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Object Oriented application development
• J2EE programming / Service Oriented Architecture and development
• Previous experience with BEA weblogic application server or websphere
• Hands-on UML experience in modeling and documentation
• Hands-on experience with data mapping across multiple systems and interfaces
• Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience
• Chordiant BPM, and Chordiant Foundation Server
• Experience designing and developing process based solutions
• Experience in process excellence/modelling, workflow, or flow charting
• Experience designing and developing process based solutions or BPM (business process management) is good to have
• IBM Websphere DataPower Integration appliances
• Parasoft Test and deployment tools
• IBM Rational ClearCase software configuration managemen
• Cruise Control: for a continuous build process
