About the Job

Our client has a requirement for Senior Vignette Developer for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role:

We are looking to hire a Senior Vignette Developer for a 6 month contract to start with the potential to extend to 12-18 months. The candidate should have a solid Vignette development background with strong knowledge of Java as well. This individual will be working on a number of projects throughout the year. It would be preferable for this person to have experience working on a migration project in the past.

 

Qualification:

• 5+ years of Vignette development experience

• Vignette experience must be with at least version 7, preferably version 8

• 5+ years of Java development experience; specifically Java 1.6 or higher (Java 1.6 is required; Java 1.7 would be a nice to have)

*Please note that in 2009 OpenText acquired Vignette but we are still expecting to see the experience listed as either Vignette or WEM (Web Experience Management), which the name has recently been changed to.

 

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Self-learner/self-starter

• Ability to work without much direction

• Willing to work and go the extra mile

 

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience working on a migration project in the past (this is not a requisite)

• Financial experience (this is not a requisite)
