About the Job

Our client has a requirement for Solution Architect (Marketing portfolio) for a 6 months contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Requirements or Qualifications

Must Have

• 7-10 years experience as a solution architect, with experience including system architecture for solutions in the $1-10M range
• Systems integration experience in large systems environments, such as healthcare, retail or banking
• Experience across multiple architecture domains: application, technology, data and information systems
• Requirements elucidation, analysis and solution synthesis
• Comprehensive knowledge of SOA principles and technology
• Comprehensive experience in web application architecture
• Knowledge of key Java-based frameworks (e.g. JEE, Spring, Hibernate, JAX-WS, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Familiarity with TOGAF
• Ability to model using UML, and ideally Archimate
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of all components of an enterprise technical architecture.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
• Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems.
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.

Nice To Have

• Experience in loyalty systems,
• Experience with product and promotions systems experience with cloud-based solutions,
