Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for an Application Architect for 4 months Contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Requirements and Qualification:

• Deliver the application architecture and deployment strategy for Integrated Assessment Record (IAR) application upgrade;
• Work with the third party software provider to ensure the Integrated IAR application upgrade and configuration is in alignment with overall IAR architecture and is developed in accordance with our client processes and development guidelines;
• Ensure that the application and deployment architecture meet requirements from Health Service Provider (HSP) organizations, privacy and security, operations and standards;
• Provide impact analysis for the application upgrade project;
• Develop and update solution architecture documents to support the IAR application upgrade;
• Provide design direction to technical resources for upgrades of IAR custom modules;
• Ensure the IAR application continues to be sustainable in the client’s interim operations mode and appropriate integration architecture is maintained for future IAR module upgrade projects;
• Ensure knowledge transfer from the vendor to the IAR operations and support teams issuccessfully completed on design and architecture for future IAR application upgrades;
• Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that issues are escalated and resolved tomeet project timelines.
• Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines;
• Notify the Cluster/Ministry project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables, as soon as the he/she becomes aware of them;
• Submit Deliverables for the Cluster/Ministry approval as they are completed;
• Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry security procedures and practices;
• Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry architecture/technology standards and best practices;
• Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines;
• Provide knowledge and skill transfer to a designated Cluster/Ministry staff; and
• Comply with the Ontario Government I&IT Directive, Operational Policy on the I&IT Project Gateway Process, and other applicable Guidelines, Standards and Procedures.
