Our client has a requirement for a Business Analyst for 12 months Contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Resource Responsibilities
  • The Business Analyst Consultant will be responsible for eliciting business requirements, defining needs and recommending solutions for time-sensitive iGaming projects/initiatives. The successful candidate must have strong experience with various business requirements gathering, including User Experience requirements, Business Use Cases and the ability to define and improve business processes and make recommendations based on analysis where required.
  • In addition to eliciting and documenting requirements from stakeholders, the candidate must ensure that all analysis artifacts and associated documents are created and maintained within tight project timelines. The Business Analyst will work with diverse teams of stakeholders from multiple disciplines; therefore effective communication skills and diplomacy are required.
  • Plan, host and facilitate workshops with iGaming team and key stakeholders to establish business needs and workflows.
  • Meet and interact individually with Senior Managers, stakeholders and iGaming service solution providers to collect more in-depth feedback establish a comprehensive list of needs.
  • Plan and prioritize requirements within a project or pre-project according to its size and complexity, including; defining team/stakeholder roles, planning considerations (size, risk, complexity factors, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), selection of requirements activities, management of requirements (baseline, traceability, etc.), and measuring/reporting requirements activity status.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and streamline processes, identify gaps/opportunities for process improvements, analyze issues, propose and evaluate options.
  • Provide support, guidance and advice to the iGaming team in the development of business architecture deliverables.
  • Analyze business requirements using set artifacts such as: Business Requirements, Stakeholder Analysis, Product Requirements, Use Case Model, Use Case Specifications, Business Rules, etc. as a basis.
  • Collect, assess and transmit the business requirements for projects into functional specifications and use cases regarding customer journeys, and communications mapping.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to ensure solutions appropriately balance business, technical and customer requirements.
  • Support the implementation of the solution, which entails working with the customer to aid in their User Acceptance Testing, input or validation of the end Business User training material and documents to introduce and communication solution implementation, data conversion support, etc.
  • Provide day-to-day analysis and management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agree deadlines are met.
  • Generate documentation to facilitate customer self-assessment of business needs.
  • Translate business functions into clear business and technology requirements and deliver those to the key stakeholders.
  • Create, leverage and/or update business modelling deliverables including but not limited to: Gap Analysis Report(s), Business Process Models/Activity Diagrams (i.e. Workflows and related illustrations), Conceptual Data Models, flow charts and storyboards.
  • Develop business analysis documentation including but not limited to business rules, glossary, scenarios, process flows, activity diagrams, data models, non-functional requirements, business use cases and system use case identification to document the to-be business model.
  • Provide progress/status reports to the Project Manager iGaming
  • Document workflow and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from senior management on the specifications
