Job Description
Our client has a requirement for Support Analyst for a 2 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role
Sr. Lead required to support the role of performing Windows 7 upgrades and support the deployment of other various project software packaging and for personal computing and device support needs for Client’s corporate users, including; laptops, PC, telephone, software, and networking.
The role will draw heavily on knowledge of deployment and support of PC software upgrades. This lead must be well versed in desktop repair configuration and troubleshooting Windows based systems.
The position requires someone who is keen, energetic, self-motivated and who thrives in a fast pace environment driven by new technology adaption.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Windows 7and various of software upgrades
  • Conduct desktop repair configuration and troubleshooting on Windows based systems
  • Troubleshoot for various computers, d troubleshooting skills of computers, i.e.: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, MS Server 2003, 2008, 2012
  • Networking TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PXE, VPN (Direct Access)
  • Process escalated incidents, identify and classify problems, analyze root cause, recommend workarounds and resolution
  • Identify trends and recommend changes to support services procedures and processes
  • Provide Tier 2 Desktop Support (Hardware deployment, hardware imaging and hardware and software troubleshooting)
  • Communicate with internal support resources to follow-up and update ticket status
  • Identify gaps and create and maintain support documentation
  • Identify the gaps in processes and define new procedures
  • Application of network configuration troubleshooting

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Experience with setup of Desktop image and PC supporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and resolve service issues to meet established service level commitments
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team player on assigned tasks, as required
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of applications, such as MS Office products, Internet Explorer, MS Windows7
  • Experience with troubleshooting multifunction devices and printers
  • Experience with MS System Center Suite of products is an asset
  • Experience with SCCM 2012, WAIK, WDS, MDT 2010 and greater
  • Experience with WSUS setup and administration
  • Experience administering GPOs
  • Experience with DELL Hardware
  • Experience with VDI
  • Various PC end-user applications - MS Office 2010 including MS Access 2010, Outlook 2010, Lync 2010, Visio 2010.)
