Role

Our client is looking for a Network Processor Software Developer to join their growing and dynamic team developing leading edge real-time monitoring applications for telecommunications and data network. The successful candidate must have proven experience developing embedded C/C++ real-time network processors software (Octeon, EZChip, etc.). As part of the team, the successful candidate will be empowered to provide technical leadership to both the customer and software development team on software architecture, design, implementation and integration.

Requirements

• Experience with Cavium multi-core network processors
• Multi-threaded development
• Multi-core systems
• SCTP and VoIP protocols
• Experience in C development for embedded real-time systems

 

 Must Have

• Very strong experience in C++ development for embedded real-time applications
• Extensive experience with development in a real-time Unix environment
• Strong experience in software development for network processors

 

Soft Skills

• Highly flexible and adaptable personality.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Organized individual, capable of working independently.
• Able to interact with customers and discuss their requirements and needs.
• Able to participate and contribute to a dynamic team.

 

Education and Experience

• BSc or higher degree in CE/EE/CS or equivalent
• 5+ year experience of software development
