About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Sr. QA ANALYST for a 6 Months Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto OR London, ON.

Responsibilities

• (Must have) Experienced in ETL testing processes and usage of different ETL tools (e.g., Data Stage (Administrator, Director and Manager)
• Can write complex SQL Queries to incorporate ETL logic and to validate Test Cases and data against the backend database.
• Experienced in creating and executing SQL query on database (e.g., DB2) and comparing test data with expected data during ETL process
• Experienced in validating the data in flat files. Performed back end testing along the ETL and between source, staging and target using complex SQL queries
• Familiarity in raising deployment requests to the configuration management team to deploy the ETL jobs in QA.
• Experienced in debugging the ETL jobs and verifying log files
• Experienced in using testing tool like HPQC
• Excellent hands-on experience on System Testing, System Integration Testing, BAT testing (functional and non-functional testing)
• Experienced writing Test Scenarios and Test Scripts/test cases
• Experience in handling Defect Triage meetings with Stakeholders
• Knowledge of MQ
• Experienced with Unix
• Working knowledge with mainframe jobs (e.g. TSO) is an asset
• Working experience with MDM is an asset
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
• Team player and have leadership qualities!
• QA/Testing Certification would be a plus - but not mandatory

• ETL Batch Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) experience
• 3-7 years of experience in Software Testing
• Experienced in ETL testing processes and usage of different ETL tools (e.g., Data Stage (Administrator, Director and Manager)
• SQL, DB2
• Experienced in using testing tool like HPQ
• UNIX
• SDL Agile
• HPQC
• XML

 

Nice to Have

• MDM
• Prior banking experience
