Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Business Analyst for a 3-month contract opportunity with very likely extension. The position is located in Ottawa, ON.

Requirements or Qualifications

• The client is looking for a senior Business analyst capable of gathering requirements, producing documentation etc... in order to implement and assist in a major business transformation project which will effect the way the public interacts with the client as well as varies major businesses and stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of Business Analyst experience. An ability to liaise with both end users, stakeholders and clients as well as with IT specialist.
• A positive, professional attitude will go a long way with this particular client.
• Bilingual is a very strong asset but not 100% mandatory.
• The candidate for the position we need to fill will be capable of/or responsible for the following:
• Identify transformative opportunities across all service channels (in-person, phone, web)
• Accountable for defining client experience through AMANDA public portal
• Accountable for definition of permits and licenses requirements that meet Service Ottawa objectives for process transformation and improved client experience
• Provide input to integrated schedule development for Business Transformation activities and resources
• Assess operational requirements to identify transformation opportunities
• Manage relationships with impacted lines of business
• Define organizational change required to implement transformations
• Conduct enterprise requirements gathering workshops
• Manage elicitation of enterprise business requirements
• Manage definition, review and approval of enterprise business requirements documented by EPaL technical team business analysts
• Manage development of user acceptance testing plan and tools
• Day-to-day management of Transformation Team resources and activities
• Communication of overall integrated solution as required
• Report project status weekly to Integrated Project Manager
