About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Sr. Project Manager for a 6 months Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

We are looking for a DATA Analyst with Deep Data Analytics, Capital Market and Audit Experience.

 

Requirements

• Provide strong leadership and coordination to deliver technical solutions for core applications across a portfolio of projects.
• Define scope, deliverables, release schedules, budgets and task lists
• Work closely with technical resources (developers, business analysts, architects, etc.) and facilitate setting of technical and functional requirements.
• Liaise with other Technology Solution Delivery groups and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• Ensure compliance to TDBG project management methodology.
• Execute technology project management deliverables within budget and as per the approved project plan.
• Identify all project dependencies and risks, ensuring they are effectively managed and ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.
• Control change to project scope through accepted change management processes and documentation.
• Investigate, escalate and ensure that all project issues are effectively resolved.
• Identify and triage issues and changes (through change requests) escalating as required
• Provide advice and guidance to business partners as required regarding best practices in project management.
• Prioritize and manage own workload and the workload of project team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines.
• Communicate status and report on progress, technology spend & forecast and risks to team members as well as project/business stakeholders.
• Providing leadership, people management and coaching.
• Prioritize projects and activities to align with business strategy and objectives.
• Plan resource levels according to support and project demands, recruiting when required and utilizing alternate delivery methods such as contract or offshore resources.

 

 Qualifications

• Project experience with distributed applications
• Experience with DB2, Oracle, Unix and Websphere
• Experience with complex and high risk projects from initiation to completion
• Managing budgets from $500k to $5M or managing a work stream within a $20M project
• Solid MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience
• Exceptional communication skills and excellent presentation skills
