About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Client Care and Billing (CC&B) Functional Architect for a Permanent, Fulltime opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON

Requirements

• Provides the company’s client facing presence in both project delivery and support engagements
• Understands, articulates and addresses business issues, business drivers and needs.
• Manages the fact-finding, analysis and development of projects.
• Participates in scoping, and estimating activities.
• Plans and facilitates application design sessions. Able to influence the direction of a senior management group in/outside application design sessions.
• Participates in project planning, organization, direction and control processes.
• Analyzes software requirements, defines solution parameters and specifications.
• Reviews and assess multiple designs and ensure formation of a creative and cohesive solution.
• Leads the functional design process by understanding the applications to be used and best practices in designing appropriate solutions.
• Assesses business and technical impacts of solution.
• Negotiates and manages functional scope to reduce business and technical risks.
• Plans and manages the Software Implementation/Development Lifecycle.
• Anticipates future customer, industry and information technology trends.
• Mentors, coaches, and trains junior level resources.
• Plans and facilitates SDLC tasks such as testing, training and deployment
• Conceptualizes a solution of significant scope, across multiple business processes
• Manages the client’s expectations so that the resultant system meets their budget and time constraints
• Contribute to the functional architecture & configuration
• Conduct design sessions to build on functional designs for application configuration decisions and enhancements, reports, and interfaces
• Configure remainder of CC&B base functionality (e.g., rates, collections & severance)
• Triage defects and QA code
• Participate and provide input to the testing team
• Participate in PMO activities

Specific Skills

• CC&B v2.3, 2.4
• Experience with Water, Electric, Generation, Regulation and deregulation market
• Configuration and deployment experience
• Complex billing
