Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Systems Analyst for a 3 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa, ONT

Requirements or Qualifications

• Must have a university degree or university diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Systems Engineering, or a similar field;
• Must have experience in doing the analysis or design of systems that use object-oriented technologies in an n-tier deployment. Must have used Java/J2EE and must have been longer than a year;
• Analysis or design of systems that use a Service Oriented Architecture;
• Experience working with business or systems analysis or design that includes working with Subject Matter Experts;
• Experience working with business or systems analysis or design of systems that use object-oriented technologies in an n-tier deployment;
• Experience working with business or systems analysis or design of systems that use object-oriented technologies in an n-tier deployment;
• Experience producing business requirements, systems analysis or design documentation in Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation;
• Experience working with Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest or their Rational Team Concert equivalents;
• Experience developing an IM/IT solution ,for the purpose of this criterion, similar is defined as having the following characteristics:
• Inter-jurisdictional, mission critical systems; and
• Involving regional stakeholders; and
• Making use of Java and related technologies; and
• Must have valid Secret clearance.
