Job Description
Our client has a requirement for a Project Control Officer for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role
Highly organized, attention to detail, works well under pressure, excellent communications skills, must work after normal business hours, reporting to the VoIP Phone Deployment PM, this resource will:
  • Manage and track all planned activities occurring within each branch to ensure completion – interfacing directly with onsite technicians
  • Plan, coordinate & schedule supporting SME resources based upon the Master Deployment Schedule – ensure resources based upon nightly volumes
  • Complete Night-of supporting documentation, checklists, GMR reports, etc.
  • Escalate all issues encountered night of for problem resolution
  • Document all issues within project log and track all to completion
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct weekly root cause / process improvement meetings
  • Update status and other project reports & communication updates accordingly
  • Keep other team members informed and up-to-date about the status/progress of projects, and all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
