About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a MicroStrategy BI Specialist for a 6 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role and Responsibilities

MicroStrategy BI Specialist's duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop make recommendation on MicroStrategy Mobile projects
• Develop advise on MicroStrategy Visual Insights and dashboards
• Develop and test MicroStrategy Multisource projects and reports
• Develop strategies for MicroStrategy Transactional Services (write back)
• Develop strategies for MicroStrategy Distribution Services (self serve)
• Document custom configuration according to the business categories
• Document analysis for each MicroStrategy BI subject area. (referred to as projects)
• Assist with System, Integration Testing, Client Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing or any client specific software testing.
• Prepare a new end user training package in co-ordination with the core team
• Provide updates of project status to Project Manager
• Interact with core team members, end users & other team members.

 

Requirements

• Experience working with MicroStrategy version 9.2 and 9.3 developing projects and reports
• Experience with advanced features in MicroStrategy such as Mobile, Multisource, Transaction Services, Visual Insight and Distribution Services.
• Working knowledge of Oracle 10G and 11G database software Experience with service level agreements, user acceptance testing and documentation
• Project lifecycle expertise
