Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a two (2) Javascript Developers a four (4) month contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa, ONT

Requirement or Qualifications:

• Conduct detailed analysis of defined specifications;
• Develop and document designs that meet applicable standards;
• Identify, analyze and resolve moderately complex software inadequacies;
• Application development, coding and testing;
• Assist in establishing project estimates; and
• Attend requirements and/or design reviews as a presenter.

 

Qualifications:

• Degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent;
• 2-3 years of experience developing web-based applications with Java/J2EE;
• Know ledge of Java Servlets, JSP, HTML, Javascript, SQL and XML;
• Java Programmer Certification (Sun) is a strong asset;
• Experience with Apache Tomcat;
• Experience with Databases – particularly Oracle and SQLServer;
• Experience with Eclipse or similar IDE;
• Experience with AJAX, Spring Framework, ExtJS, Web Services and UML an asset; and
• Experience developing mobile applications/websites is also an asset.
