Job Description
Our client has a requirement for a Change Management Support Consultant until May 2014 with possible extension located in Ottawa, Ontario.

Qualifications
  • Must have minimum 12 years experience as a Change Management Support Consultant working within an IM/IT environment.
  • Experience with process improvement definition and process documentation.
  • Experience with a ticket management system like (but not limited to) Rational Clear Quest or Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
 
Responsibilities
  • Change/Bug/Production Issue (Ticket) Management:
    • Manage the flow of Change Request, Bug, and Production Issue tickets through their full ticket management lifecycle.
  • Create tickets as prescribed by Ticket Management process flows.
  • Enforce ticket management processes across all teams.
  • Maintain existing Ticket Management process flow documentation.

Release Management
  • Coordinate and plan scheduled and unscheduled releases with all stakeholders.
  • Act as the release coordinator across all portfolio layers for scheduled minor and major releases as well as unscheduled emergency releases.
  • Document and maintain all Release Management process flow documentation.
