Our client has a requirement for a Project Coordinator for a 12 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Summary
We are looking for a Project Coordinator with 5+ years of experience for the Personal & Commercial line of business. This is not to work on a specific project, but to assist with coordination of many projects within the LOB.
 
Required Skills
  • Needs to be strong at core PCO work, which includes:
    • Creating & maintaining project/program schedules [Project Plans in Microsoft Project]; experience with MS Project is essential.
    • Producing, maintaining, and following up on baseline PM documentation [status reports, management briefing presentations].
    • Prepare meeting minutes, maintain the project plan, maintain the document repositories, track the issue and risk log.
    • May actually be given work packages to lead or manage, or may just be program support.
    • Able to independently manage small work packages.
    • Excellent business communications skills; written, verbal.
    • Savvy enough to talk with low level technical folks [status updates] and Senior Executives [ for day to day updates, communications, follow-ups]. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Extremely articulate and confident in their experience.
    • Able to deal well with ambiguity.
    • Experience producing a portfolio of reports and then completing further analysis on the reports (no specific reporting tools required).
• Project management background
• 5+ years of experience; whether it is as a PCO, Associate PM or Junior PM
 
Nice to Have Skills
• Experience managing project financials.
• Previous bank experience is an asset; specifically in the Finance department / area.
• Previous experience working on a large financial project or program is an asset.
