Our client has a requirement for a Business Consultant - Expert for a 6 month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

We are looking for a DATA Analyst with Deep Data Analytics, Capital Market and Audit Experience.

 

Requirements

• Responsible for coordinating changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
• Education/Experience:
• Associates degree in computer programming or relevant field required. Bachelor degree preferred. 2 to 4 years experience required.
• Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc.
• Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Oracle 10 & 11 & 12 (RAC and DataGuard are not crucial) -Shell scripting in Solaris/Linux -MS SQL Server
• Good communication skills -Team oriented
