Summary
As a Software Developer in data path/packet forwarding you will be at the forefront of architecture, design and implementation of our client's new generation of high- performance appliances and platform. You will be part of a team developing very high performance packet processing capabilities to expand our client’s management and application capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in C/C++ in a real time embedded environment preferably Linux or other RTOS
- Strong experience in working with standard network chips or processors and program them for supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality
- Experience in data path and packet forwarding software
- In-depth knowledge of packet switching and routing
- Hands-on expertise with Broadcom 200G or 100G integrated packet processor, traffic manager, and fabric interface single-chip devices
- Usage of Broadcom self-routing cell-based switching fabric element devices
Education and Experience
- BSc or higher degree in CE/EE/CS or equivalent
- 5+ year experience of software development
- Highly flexible and adaptable personality
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Organized individual, capable of working independently
- Able to interact with customers and discuss their requirements and needs
- Able to participate and contribute to a dynamic team
