Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a Cognos TM1 Consultant for 3 months Contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Role:

Cognos TM1 Contractor is responsible for architecture and development of Cognos TM1 Enterprise Planning and Forecasting solution including integration and development with Cognos BI. Work with technical teams to ensure a high performing and highly available Cognos TM1/BI solutions. Work with key functional users, Finance, and Business Analyst to develop and deliver TM1 solutions that meet the needs of the business with a primary focus on financial planning and analysis.

 

Requirements and Qualification:

• TM1 9.5 and 10.2 architecting experience
• In-depth knowledge of TM1 cubes design, Turbo Integrator Processes, Rules engine and System Maintenance is required.
• Should have experience of building advanced TI scripts and writing complex rules / feeders on cubes and also on debugging the code.
• Strong knowledge in BI/TM1 security model and know how to apply it
• Developing Cognos TM1 Applications and creating Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting models using TM1 Skills
• Experience working on TM1 Contributor and TM1 Web
• Should have strong skills working on Excel and TM1 Perspectives. Should be able to build reports using TM1 Perspectives, Executive Viewer and Cognos Insight.
• Experience in using TM1/BI in importing/exporting data from Database tables, Cubes and Data Warehouse Schema
• Enhancing of existing models, reports and cubes
• Delivering models and activities within required policies and practices
• Must have advance TM1 architecting skill
