About the Job
Our client has a requirement for a QA Analyst for a 6 months contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.

Responsibilities
- Review documentation to understand testing requirements.
- Using System Requirements and System Design Documents, write, maintain and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Execute test cases ensuring accuracy and record test results. Identify and document bugs and communicate them to the team. Work with development team to resolve problems.
- Assist in the preparation of test result walkthroughs / presentations to the project team and business representatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise on specific application usage or area of knowledge
- Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, third party service partners, and client areas as appropriate
- Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives and providing client services
- Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives
- Participate in test planning, lead or assist in preparing various testing documentation (e.g. test strategy, test plan, defect management plan, schedule etc.) and test results walkthroughs
- Identify, develop and document test scenarios and/or test cases
- Perform Business Acceptance Testing for secure applications, tools, links, navigation and overall site content across various business lines.
- Execute test cases within the testing environment, ensuring accuracy and record test results / defects and obtain approval
- Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases and maintain documentation of test results according to defined processes / tools (including HP Quality Centre)
- Participate in or lead post implementation reviews and processes (e.g. lessons learned, post-install application verifications etc.)
- Assist in the preparation of a test result walkthroughs / presentations to the project team and business representatives
- Apply and follow established testing best practices
- Complete tasks according to project timelines/schedules and costs
- Recommend process improvements where appropriate
- Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and with business units
Qualified Candidates will have
- Developing & executing test cases
- Creating test scenarios and writing test scripts
- Experience with QC
- Ability to develop detailed test cases using requirements & other application documentation
Nice to Have
- Business Acceptance testing experience
- Wealth experience
