Job Description
Our client has a requirement for a Business/Quality Analyst for 1 year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Role and Responsibilities
 Analysis
  • Conduct/Review and validate r12 Upgrade Impact Analysis
  • Conduct Functional Gap Analysis

Design
  • Assist the Client SMEs in deciding any application setup changes that are required in R12.
  • Prepare Testing Plan
  • Create/Update Unit Test Scripts
  • Create/Update System Acceptance and Integration Testing Scripts

Build
  • Perform all functional pre-upgrade and post-upgrade steps required to complete the upgrade
  • Create/Update any functional design documents where customizations require changes to work in the R12 environment.
  • Update setup documents for R12 changes.
  • Update Access Control Matrix

Test
  • Coordinate/Conduct unit testing
  • Test the internal/external business functions after the EBS system is upgraded to R12.
  • Assist the Client in user acceptance testing and integration testing of the R12 environment
  • Test all customizations including forms, reports, workflows and interfaces to ensure that all are functioning properly in the upgraded R12 environment.
  • Test the successful migration of all customizations
  • Assist the Client with testing any third party applications that integrate with Oracle EBS.

Implement
  • Update business process documentation.
  • Assist Client DBAs and technical staff with production migration functional steps.
  • Assist Client SMEs with production configuration changes.

Support
  • Post Implementation Support
  • Resolve product issues faced during the upgrade or reported by the users.
  • Assist in the creation of training material for Release 12 new features and procedure changes training.
  • Conduct core team and train-the-trainer training.
  • Updating system support and maintenance process documentation.
  • Assist Client technical staff and SMEs with issue resolution during post production support

Skills Required
  • Experience in business requirements into system requirements, functionality configuration or extensions. Includes documentation of impact analysis, development of functional designs, system testing and integration testing.
  • Proven experience in working on large-scale complex project and expertise in configuring Oracle EBS R12 for scalability and high availability.
  • Proven experience in the use of multiple Oracle application modules like AP, AR, GL, PO, FA, PA, iProcurement, iExpenses, workflow, Oracle Business Intelligence.
  • Ability to conduct effective analysis and research, including needs assessment/requirements analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.
  • Proven experience in business process mapping and process design/re-engineering.
  • Experience in development of business strategies and feasibility studies, fit/gap and cost/benefit analysis, business case development
  • Desired knowledge of public sector structure and policies, including relevant public policy objectives, principles and constraints Organizational culture/unionized public sector
