About the Job

Our client has a requirement for QA Analyst for a 3 months contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Requirements or Qualifications

This individual would be developing manual scripts using Quality Centre to build a new User Interface (UI) for a brand new application (not enhancements). With the new UI, they would need to ensure all functionality works and enter additional information into a DB2 database. There may also be some back-end testing but it would be a small part. It would be good if this individual has SQL testing before.

This individual will be working with batch loading database and they would verify the data mapping and batch process. They need to be detail oriented as they will be working with a number of charts and files. They need to be able to understand financial terms/knowledge (FI required and work with back-end testing). 

Qualified Candidates will have

• FI experience - wealth experience preferred 
• Batch testing experience and file extraction testing - min 4 yrs experience
• Solid knowledge and experience on DB2 database and SQL database in building SQL query
• Experience with developing manual scripts using QC - min 4 yrs experience 
• Worked with a brand new application vs enhancements 
• Functional and user acceptance testing experience 
• Manual tests for regression and has SIT testing experience 
• Work proactively with minor supervision 
• Wealth Experience 
• GUI testing
