About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Senior QA Lead for a 2.5 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role

Our client is looking for a lead to play duo roles for the database project. This individual will be leading the project and who will also be responsible of the actual test execution. This is data centric project. The candidate must have experience leading batch/data projects. This individual will be leading batch/data projects (no direct reports) and have hands on responsibility to build manual test scripts, test strategy and perform the actual test execution. MS Project 2010 is a must have as this candidate would need create a project plan.

Requirements or Qualifications

• QA Lead Banking industry experience  
• 5+ years experience leading a technical/data-centric project
• 5+ years experience in creating Test Strategy and Test Plan
• Comfortable with interacting with developers directly
• 5+ years experience in GUI/UI testing
• 5+ years knowledgeable on databases (Access, DB2, Oracle, SQL)
• 6+ years knowledge of HP QC
• 3 years experience using MS Project 2010 and other MS Office products and Windows
• Mainframe knowledge is a plus
• 5+ years experience in ETL and batch testing is an asset
• Wealth experience is an asset  
• Excellent communication skills
• Quick learner
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
