Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Scheduler / Planner for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Toronto.

Role

• Liaising with customers, subcontractors and internal staff on a daily basis
• Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the Project Master Schedule, Plant Master Schedules, and various Area Coordination Schedules for the project
• Assisting in the monitoring, reviewing, and analysis of the schedule and status of Contractors during all phases of the project, including the analysis of any schedule deviations and corrective actions

Requirements or Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years experience in project planning
• Excellent skills in Primavera Project Planner (P6)
• Experience on large-scale Engineering and Construction / Turnaround  projects
• Ability to schedule and track multiple projects from concept to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong people skills which translates into the ability to effectively work independently and with a team
