Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Software Tester contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa, ONT

Requirements or Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a software Tester
• A minimum of 2 years experience in testing a web-based application or service
• An individual valid security screening at the level of Reliability
• Experience in the execution of test scenarios and manual test scripts
• Experience in the development of test scenarios and test scripts from functional specifications
• Experience following a testing methodology which includes conducting different types of testing (e.g. System, Unit, Regression, Load and Acceptance)
• Experience in developing and producing bug / enhancement reports in a release based system
• Experience working with a project team that includes Business Analysts and Developers
• Experience using an automated test tool
