Job Description
Our client has a requirement for a Senior Application Support Integration Specialist for 6-month contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Role

The candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, specializing in Tier 2 Application Support Tool development/configuration in a Windows NT environment. Experience with integration of 3rd party developed applications into a Tier 2 supported environment is preferred. Primary focus of responsibilities should be at least equally split (if not more) with analysis, investigation of problems and defining solutions for those problems (development, COTS, process change, up/downstream modification etc.). Detailed requirements are described below:

Requirements and Qualifications

• Script Building (experience with DOS, Windows, VB scripting) SQL at the very least, if not more advanced DB skills.
• This resource will need to be able to pull and analyze data.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows NT
• Senior level analysis and problem investigation capabilities
• Configuration Tools development and /or customization
• Experience with Monitoring Tools development and/or customization
• Diagnostic Tool scripting capabilities including both tool development and ability to analyze troubleshooting logs for common issues
• Experience with Integration Testing for both application and various hardware components
• Software Distribution Tools knowledge and customization abilities
• Application Code Management experience
• Networking knowledge as an asset
