About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a 6 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga, ON.

Role

Our client is seeking a Technology Business Analyst to support Demand Management activities. This position will report to the Program Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders and other SMEs to assess current capabilities, understand high-level business requirements and apply technical background/understanding in the development of System Requirements Specification (SRS) documents and Test Cases
• Work with the Solution Designers to translate user and/or systems requirements into functional technical specifications
• Support testing in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing; participate in the testing of developed systems/solutions
• Participate in quality management reviews, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements
• Act as a technical resource for business partners to ensure deliverables meet business and end-user requirements
• Adhere to existing processes/standards including the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC), business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines and escalate issues as required
• Support review of training materials, lead internal training sessions and support application implementation when required.

Technology & Infrastructure

• Work with the Technology Project Manager and technology team to define metrics and performance goals for the application
• Work with Operations Reporting team to assist in performance metrics reporting requirements and testing

Business

• Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
• Support the development of business cases, RFI/RFP and service level agreements with vendors/suppliers consistent with IT requirements/guidelines
• Support business with identifying future enhancements for an application.

Requirements or Qualifications

• 5 yrs years SDLC/PMLC experience
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written including presentation skills
• 5 years Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• 5 years SRS experience
• 5 years Documentation of Test Cases experience
• Work Flow tools experience
• Training material creation and training execution experience
• Previous banking/Financial Services experience
• Vendor Management experience
