Job Description

Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate .Net Programmer Analyst for a five (5) month contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa, ONT

Requirements or Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience as a senior software developer working with a Federal Government of Canada department within the last five (5) years;
• Two (2) years experience developing website using Web Standards for the Government of Canada and provide five (5) website projects where the resource has evaluated and implemented Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0);
• Two (2) years demonstrated experience using MS-Visual Studio Team Foundation System in a development role;
• Experience developing or integrating applications using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in the last five (5) years in a Federal Government of Canada department, where these have been formally implemented;
• Seven (7) years of demonstrated experience developing applications that have implemented .NET Framework technology;
• Five ( 5) years of demonstrated experience, per language, using the following coding environment:
• C#/VB.NET
• Extensible Markup Language (XML)
• Javascript
• VB 6.0
• Classic ASP

• One (1) year demonstrated experience developing web based application integration with: social media platforms;
• One (1) year demonstrated experience developing web based application integration with Google maps;
• Experience writing and/or implementing code migration plans for application/website deployment to production;
• Experience writing user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, fitgap analysis, user acceptance testing; and
• Valid Secret clearance.
