Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a Database Developer for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.

Role:

The candidate will be involved with 100% PL/SQL or T-SQL development work.

 

 

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of Experience developing database applications in PL/SQL or T-SQL - Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures, Complex SQL Oracle Collection, Object Types knowledge
• 2-3 years of experience developing Crystal Reports on Oracle or Sql Server.
• Experience SQL Query tuning using different tools.
• Oracle 10g/11g or Sql Server 2005/2008 experience is a must.
• Sound understanding of Enterprise Resource Models and Diagrams.
• Experience with data conversion from Mainframe to RDBMS is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical and technical documentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skill.
• Understand SDLC process and tools, agile program management concepts and version control.
