Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Quality Management Analyst for a permanent opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role

Our client is seeking a result-oriented self starter with strong technical, development, release management, coaching, facilitation and analytical skills to join the Business Technology Services (BTS) Quality Management team. The Quality Management Analyst will report to the Manager, Quality Management and will be responsible for coaching agile team members on requirements, programming, testing and deployment practices.

 

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in IT quality management.
• Demonstrated experience providing coaching/and mentoring in Agile/Kanban/Lean technical practices.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in multiple phases of SDLC.
• Experience in Agile (SCRUM/Extreme Programming etc), Kanban, Lean
• Experience in J2EE
• Experience in,Behaviour Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, CRC Modeling,
• Experience with Maven, Ant, GIT, Hudson, FitNesse, and other open source tools
• Knowledge of Lean/System oriented tools and techniques for root cause analysis using tools such as 5 whys, Ishikawa diagram, Pareto Chart, Cumulative flow diagram, statistical process control charts;
• Understanding of System Architecture of web based applications such SOA or OO.
• Experience conducting business analysis using functional decomposition and other agile techniques
• Experience in agile iterative planning.
• Knowledge of agile project management principles.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• KCP CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP certifications recommended.
• 3+ years Agile experience
• Strong communication skills
• -Quantitative analysis (reporting on metrics)

 

Nice to have

• KANBAN experience or at minimum an understanding
• Coaching experience
