About the Job

Our client has a requirement for 3 Data Center Migration and Testing Specialists for a 3 Month Contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Creation of Application Migration Deployment Plans
• Lead the Creation of Migration Event Run Books
• Involved in successful delivery of highly complex data center migration programs

Requirements or Qualifications

• 6+ years Data Center Migration experience
• 6+ years of test coordination & management experience and overseeing high complexity or cross enterprise projects/programs
• 6+ years Infrastructure
• QA Management experience
• Experience with large scale technology infrastructure implementations and migrations
• Detailed understanding of migration approaches including Refresh, P2P and V2V
• Solid understanding of computing platforms and operating systems
• Solid understanding of computer networking
• High level understanding of application architecture, shared services, interfaces and database systems
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities
• Knowledge of infrastructure testing methodologies within a Data Center project
• Excellent Communication
• Development experience is a plus
• Programming experience is an asset
• Prior Banking experience would be an advantage
• Demonstrated leadership ability
