About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Application Developer for a 6 months contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

• Develop web based Application for the front and back office in C# (.NET) and Silverlight 5.0
• Development will have to conform to high standards and the applications built will have to be robust and highly available.
• Understand the world of FX, especially as it relates to:
• Trading and Sale
• Customer Relationship Data Management
• Back Office Processing
• It is extremely important that the candidate is a self -starter. Candidate will be judged on the amount of initiative they take to understand and solve problems using the resources (documentation and people) they have available.

Qualifications

• C# (.NET) development with Silverlight 5.0
• Inquisitive attitude and ability to learn.
• Exceptional communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
